Warranty Policy

At Vare, our philosophy is rooted in ELEVATING THE UNSEEN. Every flush floor register, vent, and exhaust mount is precision-engineered to meet the most demanding architectural standards. We proudly stand behind the uncompromising quality, structural integrity, and craftsmanship of our solid steel hardware.

2-Year Limited Warranty

Vare manufactured hardware is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under standard residential and commercial use for a period of two (2) years from the date of original delivery.

This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser of the product directly through www.vare.ca or an authorized Vare Trade Partner.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing and structural defects. If a product arrives with a structural flaw or fails to operate as designed under normal, intended use within the first two years, Vare will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace the piece with an item of the same or similar color, design, and quality at no expense to the purchaser.

What Is Not Covered

Vare hardware is designed for precise structural integration at the sub-floor and drywall level. Because we cannot control the environment or the exactness of the installation process, this warranty does not cover:

  • Improper Installation: Damage resulting from improper handling, dropped hardware, or failure to follow Vare installation guidelines.
  • Installation Materials: Damage caused by mortar, caulking, grout, adhesives, or custom applied paint.
  • Mechanical Damage: Structural compromise due to stripped, over-tightened, or improperly engaged leveling screws and damper mechanisms.
  • Wear and Tear: Standard cosmetic wear, including natural surface scratching, scuffing, or finish degradation due to heavy foot traffic over time.
  • Environmental Exposure: Degradation or rust caused by harsh chemical cleaning agents, steam rooms, outdoor exposure, or extreme moisture environments.

HVAC System Exclusion

It is the strict responsibility of the purchaser, interior designer, or HVAC contractor to ensure that Vare products are appropriately sized and compatible with the property’s specific HVAC system requirements. This warranty does not cover any repair, replacement, or modification of an HVAC system, furnace, ductwork, or electrical components, nor does it cover any labor costs or mechanical damage resulting directly or indirectly from the installation of our products.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your hardware has a manufacturing defect, please act promptly. To initiate a claim, please contact our client care team at production@vare.ca and include the following:

  • Your original Vare order number or proof of purchase.
  • A brief written description of the defect.
  • Clear, well-lit photographs or videos displaying the hardware and the issue in question.

Our quality control specialists will review your claim and follow up with the appropriate next steps for resolution. Vare reserves the right to request that the defective item be shipped back to our facility for physical inspection before a replacement is issued.

Limitation of Liability

The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies under this warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including, but not limited to, loss of profits, construction delays, or labor costs for the removal or reinstallation of hardware or surrounding flooring and drywall.
